These are some of our favorite wines and after listening to the stories and the work that goes into these wines, Barolo and Barbaresco essentially speak for themselves and worth the splurge. They are also excellent cellar investments with great ageing potential. Both are based on the NEBBIOLO grape, although they have many similarities, there are significant differences between these two Italian appellations.
