La BOTTEGA MONDAY PASTA SOCIAL CLUB - FARFALLE: Pasta Demo, Dinner & Wine. The perfect way to start the week. Enjoy a classic antipasto as La BOTTEGA resident Chef Isabelle Larocque takes you through the steps of preparing FARFALLE from scratch. Farfalle, dating back to the 1500s, originated in the Lombardia and Emilia-Romagna part of Northern Italy. Farfalle, which means “butterfly” in Italian, are rectangular or oval pieces of pasta that are pinched in the middle. The pasta will then be tossed in a late summer primavera sauce. Larissa Beznaczuk-Smyrnew will be pairing three Italian wines that pair perfectly with the end of summer. Only 16 seats.
On the menu:
- Three Course Dinner: Antipasto, Fresh Farfalle in a Primavera Sauce, and something sweet to finish
- Three glasses of wine (4oz.) each
- Pasta demonstration
