La Bottega Nicastro invites you to an unforgettable aperitivo of exceptional wine and cheese, celebrating the legacy of the singular, iconoclastic Abruzzese producer Emidio Pepe. Renowned for his dedication to biodynamic farming and traditional winemaking, Pepe’s wines transcend time and trends, showcasing remarkable complexity, elegance, and a true sense of terroir.
Kat Nyman of The Living Vine will provide insights into the wine, as well as the Pepe family’s storied history from the 1960s to today—including the vital contributions of Chiara Pepe, Emidio’s granddaughter. Larissa Beznaczuk-Smyrnew from La BOTTEGA will lead you through a Pecorino cheese tasting, featuring some of the best from Italy.
