In partnership with North and Navy and The Living Vine, La Bottega Nicastro invites you to an unforgettable evening of exceptional food and wine, celebrating the legacy of the singular, iconoclastic Abruzzese producer Emidio Pepe. Renowned for his dedication to biodynamic farming and traditional winemaking, Pepe’s wines transcend time and trends, showcasing remarkable complexity, elegance, and a true sense of terroir.
A seasonal menu curated and prepared in La Bottega’s intimate kitchen by North & Navy’s Chef Adam Vetterol will pair perfectly with a stunning selection of Emidio Pepe’s iconic wines (both whites and reds), featuring vintages from 2001 to 2020. Kat Nyman of The Living Vine will provide insights into each wine, as well as the Pepe family’s storied history from the 1960s to today—including the vital contributions of Chiara Pepe, Emidio’s granddaughter. Chiara’s leadership ensures the estate’s traditions endure while appealing to a new generation of wine enthusiasts, further solidifying the family’s role in shaping natural and slow-wine culture in Italy and beyond.
